In 2017, the CBF Ministries Council launched its 25 Young Leaders to Know initiative as a way of honoring outstanding leadership among young adults, youth, college students and young clergy across the Fellowship!
CBF is currently seeking creative and innovative individuals (ages 18-30) who have vision for the future of the church and their communities as they navigate change in a post-pandemic world.
If you are asking questions like, then this opportunity will allow you to do something constructive and proactive! Those selected will be invited to a Design Weekend in the Fall of 2022. Participants will participate in a collaborative process to develop ideas that can be implemented in their home church or community. The most compelling ideas will be awarded a grant that will allow the ideas to be executed as “holy experiments.” CBF will guide the grant recipients through an implementation and evaluation stage and will share the learnings with the larger Fellowship. Each applicant will need a church or community organization in which the potential ideas can be implemented. In order to ensure the success of each applicant and project, a letter from the supporting church or community organization with an assigned staff member must accompany the application. It is understood that the project will be implemented under the supervision of the assigned staff member and in collaboration with other leadership. What new ways of doing or being church must be embraced in order to fully become Christ’s body in this world? or Where is God calling the church into greater engagement with its community?
