At the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, we believe that advocacy and action must always be rooted in prayer.
That is why we are inviting our CBF community to join a partner initiative, For God So Loved, in a national time of fasting and prayer from March 29 through April 5.
This campaign brings together Christians across traditions for seven days of intentional prayer—for our communities, our nation and the most vulnerable among us. At a time marked by uncertainty, division and real challenges facing immigrant families and faith communities, this is an opportunity to center ourselves in what matters most: seeking God together.
As CBF, we are grateful for partners creating space for faithful witness grounded in prayer, compassion and justice. We are proud to support this effort and encourage our churches, leaders and congregants to participate.
Participants can access a helpful toolkit that includes:
- A Prayer + Sermon Guide for personal and corporate intercession
- A Brand Kit + Graphics to invite others to join
- Articles for church communications
- Music resources and guidance for organizing local prayer gatherings
Register your church, organization or as an individual, here. Download the toolkit, here.

Whether you choose to fast for a day, pray daily or gather with your congregation, your participation matters. Collective prayer has always been a powerful expression of our shared faith and hope.
Let us come together in prayer—trusting that God is at work, even in challenging times.
