Building a greenhouse is hard work. We have to plan and support the construction. We have to plant seeds. We have to install irrigation. And we have to teach the workers how to tend the plants. This year we began installing three very large greenhouses to provide food to those in need at Poraka, the group home for adults with developmental delays. Together with the Food Bank of Macedonia we are addressing the desperate need of food for the residents of the group home, while at the same time teaching them to become self-sustainable in their food production. We are planning to complete a new barn for their goats and chickens to allow them to increase their production. We are seeking transformational agricultural development for their future.
