CBF’s Faithful Experiments Retreat

The Faithful Experiments Retreat is inspired by one simple belief:

“Our churches are full of people who long for their congregations to thrive, positively impacting lives both inside and outside the church. Yet many feel stuck, unsure how to begin.”

That’s why CBF’s Thriving Congregations Initiative has created the Faithful Experiments Retreat—to equip congregational leaders (lay and clergy) to discern and take first steps toward innovative ministry.

This retreat will offer you tools and space to learn, explore and respond to God’s call with creativity and courage.

Over the past three years, we’ve seen this process transform congregations, and we’re excited to share it with more leaders like you.

To participate, you don’t need a polished idea—just a willingness to engage, commitment to participate fully, and a motivated heart, ready to try something when you get home.

See below for Faithful Experiment Retreat dates and locations:

This March, we’re hosting the retreat in partnership with CBF Texas during their Annual Meeting in Waco. View the tentative event schedule below!

Funds are available to help with travel and hotel costs. And the deadline to receive the hotel benefit is February 19.

Applications for the Texas Faithful Experiments Track will be open until February 24, 2025.
