Resources and Support for All Facets of Church Financial Health
Church financial strain is a critical challenge Fellowship congregations face. CBF and the CBF Foundation provide resources and support for all facets of church financial health, including downloadable resources, videos, and articles from our monthly church finance e-newsletter, Generous Fellowship.
Resources focus on church budgets, stewardship and generosity, capital needs, legacy giving, endowments, understanding the work of the CBF Foundation, and rethinking facilities and church property as assets.
Shauw Chin Capps, Chief Development Officer and Foundation President, would be happy to talk with you or your church about any of these areas. Below you will find downloadable print resources, videos and recent articles from our quarterly church finance e-newsletter Generous Fellowship. For more information, or if you have questions, please reach out to Shauw Chin directly at scapps@cbf.net or 770-220-1622.

Cultivating Generous Congregations
How does your congregation talk about giving?
We know that conversations around church giving can be complicated, which is why CBF is hosting a Cultivating Generous Congregations Cohort:
Where: Glen Allen Baptist Church,
3028 Mountain Rd
Glen Allen, VA 23060
When: Saturday, October 10
9:30 AM – 3:30 PM EST
We invite you and your ministry team to join us for this seminar experience that could change the way you and your congregation approach giving and generosity.
Cultivating Generous Congregations (CGC) is an interactive seminar that maps the new landscape of religious giving and provides you and your team with tools to help you build a culture of generosity unique to your congregation’s needs and challenges.
Offered by CBF in partnership with the Lake Institute for Faith and Giving, the goal of our time together will be to demonstrate how pastors and lay leaders can unearth and energize congregational generosity by exploring the significant and necessary steps to creating lasting cultural change within a congregation.
Registration is open NOW. Have questions? Contact Shauw Chin Capps, CBF’s Chief Development Officer, at scapps@cbf.net
