Descubre tu casa en la misión de Dios de cambiar el mundo.
Each year, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship provides educational opportunities for college and graduate students (aged 18 years or older) to serve both domestically and internationally in a variety of missions and ministry contexts, which may lead to vocational callings in church or field ministries. Students will serve in an educational experience with either CBF field personnel, congregations, CBF State and Regional Organizations, or Engagement Partners that aligns with Global Missions language for desired impact:
“Rooted in the transformative love of Jesus Christ, we aim to see people flourish in stable, dignified, and abundant lives. We are intentionally focusing on those affected by displacement, poverty, trauma, injustice, or limited access to the Gospel.”
During the Student Serve program, students will:
- Be introduced to the breadth of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s mission and ministry by being connected with a community of field personnel, congregations, clergy, lay leaders, and partners who are eager to support them in their journey of faith and discovery, finding their place within God’s mission to change the world.
- Attend either an in-person or virtual orientation where they will meet other students, get acquainted with the program, receive training, and understand roles and expectations.
- Connect with fellow students around the country and world through virtual cohort sessions.
- Recibe apoyo periódico del personal de CBF y de una persona designada para animarte, en el marco de un grupo reducido.
- Complete reflections, evaluations, and debrief during the program.
- Receive a $3,000 stipend in support of their service in one of the available positions.*
*CBF will pay the full stipend for the student’s experience, as well as expenses related to CBF-sponsored events like orientation, debrief, and General Assembly. Arrangements for transportation to/from placement, housing, local transportation, and food throughout the experience will be communicated in position descriptions and are the responsibility of the student (through fundraising) and/or the host/mentor.
