After moving back to America following more than a decade overseas, we weren’t quite sure where, when, or how our ministry would begin. We knew we were called to work with university students who were interested in missions and ministry, but how would we find them? As it turned out, it wasn’t difficult at all.We were invited to a Cross-Cultural Ministries class to talk about how sharing meals leads can lead to sharing the gospel. We even brought brownies and cookies to share with the students. After a single 50-minute guest lecture in an undergraduate class, we received messages from five students eager to connect. Some were interested in life overseas, while others wanted to explore working with us over the summer. It seems that finding students may not be as hard as we once thought.
