2024 Learning Lab Proposals

The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship’s 2024 General Assembly, “re:imagine” will be held June 19-21 in Greensboro, N.C. Learning Labs are a vital part of Assembly, and Cooperative Baptists are invited to submit lab proposals for the upcoming 2024 General Assembly.

Together in June, we’ll consider transformation through imagination – our own and that of the Holy Spirit moving through us as a community. With the idea of re:, we’re exploring the idea of “regarding imagination” as well as the transforming quality of re-imagining – revising, reinvigorating, reenergizing, and renewing.

This year, we seek proposals on topics that align with this theme of “re:imagine” and transformation. Proposals that serve primarily to promote a book, program, initiative or individual are strongly discouraged. We especially welcome proposals related to

  • Advocacy
  • Baptist Identity
  • Ministry Innovation
  • Spiritual Care
  • Community Ministry
  • Clergy Support
  • Young Adult Ministry.

Please submit proposals via the online form below. The deadline for submissions is February 19, 2024.

All submissions will be reviewed and considered by the Learning Labs Coordinators for the 2024 General Assembly. Learning Labs will all be presented in person at the Sheraton Greensboro at Four Seasons/Koury Convention Center on June 20 and 21. Specific times for Learning Lab sessions are forthcoming.

Notification about your workshop proposal can be expected during the month of March. If you have any questions, please contact Aaron Weaver (aweaver@cbf.net) or Kelly Adams (kadams@cbf.net).

*Please note CBF will provide A/V support for Learning Labs, but does not provide any remuneration for Learning Lab leaders during General Assembly. Not all Learning Lab requests will be accepted.
