For the last several months, we have been on PPDA (Stateside assignment) in the U.S. Although we are in the U.S., the ministries with which we are involved in Spain continue. We are fortunate to see the results of our efforts to build locally sustainable and locally managed ministries come to fruition. As we have been visiting churches in the U.S., three Spanish employees have been continuing ministry to people currently unhoused and facing food insecurity, ministry with mothers and children affected by displacement and with single fathers. It is a joy not only to see these ministries continue in our temporary absence, but to see our ministry colleagues flourish as they live even more fully into their callings.
