Butch and Nell Green

Houston, Texas

After a long-term ministry overseas in Africa and Europe, the Greens continue a strategic ministry to help churches care for refugees, promote transformational development among refugees through social entrepreneurship, and raise awareness about the travesty of human trafficking. The Greens help churches understand Islam, develop multidisciplinary ministries to meet the needs of Internationals, share the gospel of Christ and become effective global partners.

Pray for:

  • strengthening, growth, and effective programing of the anti-human trafficking coalition that has developed between Texas gateway cities along the border and destination cities.
  • volunteers who will participate in the ongoing work of ministry among refugees in the Ready for School Program, English classes, food basket distribution, and adopt-a-family initiative.
  • greater awareness among churches and individuals of the plights of displaced peoples and how to minister to the needs of the displaced.
  • increased business skills and entrepreneurial opportunities for refugees engaged with the business Threads by Nomad.

“If then God gave them the same gift that he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could hinder God?”
Acts 11:17
