Mission Bite #127: Interfaith Hospitality and Communal Living

During my Student.Go Southeast Asia internship, I witnessed interfaith hospitality and communal living in a way I’ve never seen.

The love and concern my fellow Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu friends demonstrated for one another is a remarkable demonstration of what it means to love your neighbor. They embraced community in a way Westerners have yet to understand fully and live a given life that is poured out in so many ways.

My understanding of embracing one another despite differences was deepened, and I am so thankful for this experience.
