One of my favorite partners here in New York City is Greater Restoration Baptist Church in Brooklyn. During a normal summer, we would be doing CLUE Camp together for six weeks for about 30 young people. This year, because camp wasn't possible, one of the community ministers there put together an effort to give out school and toiletry supplies to the community. You all helped make this sharing of light in the midst of the darkness possible. Thank you!
This COVID season has really magnified the power of community and partnership, whether we have had to rely on donations from partners to meet the increase in needs in our neighborhood or contribute our own gifts to communal efforts. Where in your own community is partnership possible? How can you contribute—your gifts, voice, hands—to amplify the impact of emergency and community COVID-19 response in your corner of the world?
