Our Church Identity

Our Church Identity is a four-session video series created through a partnership between CBF Global and CBF South Carolina’s Congregational Life Team to provide context and information designed to foster local, church-specific conversation. Churches are invited to engage the material in ways that reflect their own history, values, and calling, using shared learning as a foundation for discernment about next steps.

Each 20–30 minute session focuses on one core area of congregational life—Knowing Our History, Sharing Our Story, Growing in Christian Hospitality, and Trusting the Holy Spirit—and is paired with thoughtfully crafted discussion questions and a leader’s guide. The series is designed for flexible use in a variety of settings, including Sunday School, small groups, mid-week gatherings, and online conversations, supporting thoughtful reflection and meaningful dialogue rooted in each congregation’s unique context.
