Each year we try to hold a camp for the youth and young adults from the Center of Hope in Kampala. This camp has traditionally been called the Peace Camp. It is a time when the refugee youth, most of whom have never left the urban and crowded environment of Kampala, can go to a peaceful place and have fun, as well as learn about the Bible and the hope found in Jesus. It is a highlight of the year and many youth describe it as the best few days of their life. This year the camp was on September 18 and there were 35 participants. The event was deeply impactful and we are so thankful for the way God moved in the lives of the youth.
