The CBF podcast launched in early 2016 to share the stories of CBF church starters from across the Fellowship and interviews of people partnering to do groundbreaking work in renewing God’s world.
About the Host
Rev. Dr. Andy Hale is the creator and host of the award-winning CBF Podcast Conversation, as well as the Associate Executive Coordinator of CBF North Carolina.
While Andy’s strengths focus on adaptive leadership, innovating organizational vision and administration, communication strategies and navigating uncharted situations, his passion is helping clergy, congregational leaders and churches thrive. Throughout his career, Hale has demonstrated a successful track record of collaborating with both new and established churches, helping them flourish through creative design, leadership development, congregational workshops, and strategic planning.
Before his current roles, Andy served as the senior pastor of University Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the founding pastor of Mosaic Church of Clayton, North Carolina; and the associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Clayton, North Carolina. He also served on CBF Global staff as the church start specialist, training and equipping others to start churches across the United States.
He has degrees from Campbell University Divinity School and Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. He also holds a Doctor of Leadership in global perspective from George Fox University, focusing on congregational thriving through cognitive and social psychology.
Andy is married to Jennifer. They have two daughters, Madison and Aubrey-Anna. He enjoys too much good coffee, the outdoors, long-distance running, golfing, traveling with his family to national parks, adventures and the thrill of victory for the Carolina Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide, New York Mets and Duke basketball.
