Growing With You, Together

We support the passionate dreamers, the seekers and change-makers, the leaders, and bold risk takers of tomorrow.

Through connections, shared experiences, opportunities, and local church support, we encourage young adults to thrive and grow, discover their calling, and give life to the world using their unique gifts in the service of God and others.

Take the Next Step

Join our mission. Learn how you can get involved, connect with others, and grow.

Student Missions

We provide opportunities for college and graduate students to serve with our field personnel and ministry partners around the globe. Whether for a summer or a semester, students provide crucial assistance and have an opportunity to discover their place within God’s mission to change the world.

Global Service Corps Program

The Dick and Jesmarie Hurst Global Service Corps (GSC) offers a two-year mission apprenticeship and provides an opportunity for graduates (under 30 years of age) to work alongside seasoned career field personnel and partners in over 20 counties.

Fellows Program

The CBF Fellows program assists young Baptist clergy in their “first-call” to make a strong transition from seminary to congregational ministry. We offer young Baptist ministers’ essential resources to empower them to thrive as congregational ministers and support and engage each Fellow’s congregation.

Make Connections

CBF offers ministry networks for those who work among young Baptists of all ages. Participating is as simple as joining the Facebook groups for each network, beginning the conversation, and sharing information and resources. Networks meet regularly via Zoom sessions.

Discernment Groups

Join a supportive community focused on navigating life’s big decisions about meaning and purpose. We offer small groups for college, graduate students, and other young adults focused on the discernment process.

What is discernment?
Discernment is just a big word to describe a spiritual process for seeking God’s direction in the big decisions of life.

Leadership Scholarships

We invest in students interested in becoming current and future ministry leaders. We award scholarships annually to Baptist students enrolled in a Master of Divinity degree program at an accredited institution of higher education, and other at-large leadership and regional scholarships.

“We believe we can change the world. We are leaders. We are young adults—and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is our network and faith family.”

Selah Vie Retreat

An end-of-summer retreat allows college and graduate students to pause and reflect, listen, seek guidance, and discern God’s purpose and direction. Specialized tracks give attention to the different life stages in which students may find themselves.

Seminarian Retreat

Join the largest network of theological and divinity schools connected to a national religious body. Build friendships with students and leaders who will become life-long ministry colleagues. Explore student-generated topics that extend beyond the classroom into the realm of practical ministry and personal passion.

CBF Day

CBF Day is a day-long event held on seminary campuses affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to celebrate our partnership in training women and men for vocational ministry. CBF provides an opportunity to meet CBF staff, discover resources, and expand your faith community.

Advocacy in Action

The annual Advocacy in Action conference offers pastors, church staff, lay leaders and students interested in deepening and improving their advocacy the opportunity for a hands-on experience. By exploring the biblical call for justice, meeting partner organizations, studying current issues and contacting lawmakers, attendees leave well-trained for future impact.
